New Bell & Ross BR 01 All Carbon Fiber Watches
by Marco on 17 October, 2009

Featured in a photo within the latest Swiss edition of Revolution magazine, is the brand new Bell & Ross BR-01 94 all-carbon-fiber watch. These new models have slipped through the cracks since they were spotted at last year's Baselworld fair. Now new pictures are available and the new all carbon fiber BR 01s are official.
These new models are encased in a carbon fiber case that is similar in shape as the Pro Titanium. A chronograph will be available along side the three-hand BR-01 92 version. Only 500 examples of each of the two models will be produced in all. The dial, also constructed from carbon fibre, offers extra wide and luminous hands and hour markers similar to those on the Pro Titanium. The strap is lined with the same ultra-resistant and light material and is reinforced with calfskin leather. At Baselworld the prototype of these models were presented on rubber straps, which looked great as well.
Now that official images of the models have been released, the response from Bell & Ross enthusiasts on the Web has been very positive. The BR-01 92 and BR-01 94 Pro Carbon Fibres - my name for them - are quite spectacular and very indicative of Bell & Ross' design philosophy. I expect them to be officially announced at the next edition of Baselworld and be available in the Bell & Ross section at Matt Baily mid-2010.
