About Dino Standjofski
Dino's experience in high-end articles goes back to the eighties, working for a very prestigious auction house in Montreal, Canada. He would evaluate articles of haute de gamme like paintings, both Canadian and European, antique furniture and accesories, carpets, jewelry, and watches. He worked shoulder to shoulder with the head jeweler, appraising watches like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, and Vintage Rolex, to name a few.
In the mid-nineties, Dino joined forces with Matt Baily, attending to the former music division of his store. There, he started dealing with his first passion, vintage guitars. (He is known to date a pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster from 10 feet.) As vintage guitars became harder to find, he changed departments, focusing on the rising watch market.
He has a great rapport with many repeat customers, constantly trying to supply them with all their watch needs. Be it a hard to find limited editions or to servicing that cherished piece in their collection, Dino is always happy to help.
