New Bell & Ross Complicated Watches

Bell & Ross' release of the BR-01 Tourbillon was very successful and has stemmed into the release of several other complicated models. Three new variations of the BR01 Tourbillon are now available as is the most complicated watch of the manufacturer's line, the BR Grand Minuteur.

The proprietary movements on both these models are amazing technically and visually. A golden tourbillon cage completes one revolution per minute while the balance wheel beats within it. Because the bridges and plates that hold the mechanical components together are made using carbon fibre, the wearer is offered a stunning yet sporty view through the exhibition back of the case.

The new Grand Minuteur re-invents the BR case. The case on this watch is rectangular with a width of 50mm and height of 44. The watch offers numerous functions including a fly-back chronograph and three-day power reserve. Thanks to the ingenious dial, the chronograph indicates the time lapse using minutes as well as tenth of hours. Perfect for anyone who bills clients in that fashion.

Both the Grand Minuteur and BR 01 Tourbillon models are extremely rare and complicated time pieces. They are available for order through Matt Baily for a limited time only.

The case, in glass bead blasted steel with black 'carbon powder coating', measures 46mm. It has a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters.

Movement is the automatic ETA caliber 2892 with 21 jewels.

The high-tech Instrument for the long-haul traveler

The new INSTRUMENT BR 01-93 24H GMT is designed specifically for the long-haul traveler. Its GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) function displays the time at two different points on the globe simultaneously.

The white hands on the main dial indicate the time at the wearer's current location, while the orange hand on the 24 hour graduated inner bezel shows the time in his country of origin. The large, white photoluminescent numerals, the inner bezel and the orange-colored GMT hand stand out against the black of the dial for perfect readability.

Movement is the automatic ETA caliber 2893. The case measures 46mm and is glass beadblasted steel with carbon powder coating. The crystal is sapphire with AR-coating and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

The large watch fashion trend is still going strong. It makes quite the fashion statement when you see an elegantly dressed woman or celebrity wearing a large sporty timepiece. It exudes confidence and attitude, while still being functional and incredibly easy to read.

Watches that have been great sellers with the ladies, are the Bell & Ross BR01 and BR03 Instrument models, the U-Boat Flightdeck and Classico models even up to 55mm if you can believe that, as well as the Alpina 48mm Avalanche Extreme and Corum Admirals Cup 48mm Competition.

Imagine your husband or boyfriends face when he sees you wearing a watch that is bigger than his.

One of the hottest things in the watch market today is the all black or Phantom type watches. There are a few companies manufacturing these models promoting the unreadability and unusual style.

The Bell & Ross Phantom, a limited edition run of both the BR01 and BR03 models, and are mostly sold out. Black dial, black hands, and black numbers and markers. These watches are designed for stealth fighter pilots who operate stealth aircraft capable of sliding past radars and are virtually invisible to the enemy. The all black watches reflect no light, but suprisingly glow a dark green for some very slight visibility in the dark cabin.

U-Boat has the model 1851 Flightdeck Eclipse 50 Black, all black case with black dial and black hands. Going along with the stealth style, this watch features a funky textured dial, that is rather hard to detect.

Hublot also has a limited edition Big Bang version called the All Black, not as stealth as the Bell & Ross, but all black in color and very trendy. Big Bangs are very desirable, especially the all black with some being limited to only 25 pieces.

Hamilton is the next to come out with the Below Zero 1000M H78585333, a 1000 meter diving watch all black hands, dial and numbers. This watch has sold very well (regular production) and is an incredible value for the money, it comes with a black rubber strap as well as a black PVD stainless steel bracelet.

Who would have thought, that the next trend and fashion statement in watches is not about telling time.
