As a guy, I may not have the best understanding about fashion trends, but I do know jewelry. I also know which pieces look good on the wrists and necks of our customers. Combine hot jewelry with seasonal colours and you got this fall's trends.
Pink gold is the perfect metal for this time of year. It has a warm pinkish brown hue and is more eye-catching then the more subtle yellow or white gold alloys. Rebecca offers many collections that are made in Italy with rose gold plated bronze. The Tennis bracelet is adorned with citrine and is a beautiful modern twist on the traditional tennis bracelet. It can be worn casually with jeans and a shirt or a even a more dressed up look.
Pearls have always been a fall classic. Pianegonda offers them in their new Life collection. The silver Life necklace is made of thick silver chain that would mirror the soft thickness of a wool fitted jacket. The pearls are surrounded by silver and also 18 karat gold elements.
Calgaro's new gold collection is, as its name implies, Perfect. The Perfect collection carries over the comfort and softness that you would expect from a summer styles, but with the colours of the fall. The bracelets and necklaces are made in Italy of 18 karat rose gold, diamonds, and organic shaped faceted amethyst.
Whatever you decide to wear on your wrists to your ear-lobes this fall, there are two simple rules I can think of to keep you fashionable. Keep within the fall colours, and make sure to choose fun jewelry that you will enjoy wearing.

Calgaro: Innovator in Beauty

Jewelry should be unique as well as fashionable to reflect the individuality of its owner. Calgaro is a jewelry company that understands this. They provide beautiful pieces that showcase the company's ability to manufacture silver and gold in unusual ways. Calgaro is the only manufacturer that can weave minute wires into comfortable, beautiful fabric. This unique material is present in many of their fine jewels.
This summer, the Bohemian look will be very fashionable in jewelry. Calgaro has created several collections in silver that reflect the trend. Organic forms and charm-like adornments characterize this style. The Belle Epoque collection showcases a natural feel by incorporating sculpted silver elements with natural stones and mother of pearl. The Boheme collection presents a dazzling array of cabochons of different materials that are linked by magnificent styles of chains. The Fusion Deco collection is composed of Calgaro's patented silver fabric, bold tiger's eye, and other banded stones. These Italian silver jewels will complement the magic of festive summer nights.
Several 18K gold collections were also unveiled. Mini Diva offers a miniaturized version of the original Diva style. The Soleil and Perfect collections are based on organic, asymmetrical shapes and edges that incorporate diamonds, coloured gems, and 18K gold.

Baselworld is renowned as the place where all of our favorite companies unveil new pieces and collections. For this reason, it is the most important exhibition of luxury watches, and jewelry in the world. Over one-hundred thousand buyers, and aficionados flock to this quaint, historical city every year. Amongst the hoards of luxury enthusiasts attending the show, you can count on Matt Baily being there.
This year we will have exclusive updates and unveilings displayed directly on our site for the first time, in our dedicated Baselworld 2008 section. Visiting this section, you are guaranteed to see some jaw-dropping complications, styles, and plain old extravagance.
Some information is already leaking through the cracks. Brands like Bell and Ross have seen articles written on their new red and yellow BR-01s, and pictures of different coloured BR-02s have surfaced on their forum. The beauty of all this is that they tell us these new models are only the tip of Bell & Ross' Baselworld iceberg. Other watch brands like Alpina, Corum, and Officina del Tempo promise exciting new models and company news.
As for jewelry, we have already caught some sneak-peaks of new lines from Calgaro, and Pianegonda. Some pieces are pictured bellow, and will be added to the respective brands' sections very soon.
Between now and the tenth of April, visit our Baselworld section and be at the forefront of the world's luxury industry. Our insider coverage will also include current events like last year's $800,000 heist that was barely reported by Baselworld officials. Furthermore, updates from the exclusive SIHH will also be included in the section. Stay tuned.
