While clearly designed in harmony with the same brand image and the same materials, the Admiral's Cup Competition 40 is unique - like all nautical watches produced by Corum since 1983. That was the date when the brand presented the winners of the Champagne Mumm Admiral's Cup the first-born in this aquatic line, marking the start of the Admiral's Cup collection. In 1987, Corum followed up on these promising beginnings by actually entering the world of sailing with its own boat, which even won the famous trophy in 1991! The latter is now engraved in relief on the back of the case and sets the tone for the entire collection.
