About Gerald Genta

Born in Switzerland in 1931, Gerald Genta has become one of the foremost watch designers of the 20th century, having designed classics like the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piquet Royal Oak. The company that bears his name is known for avant-garde design and unusual complications, their most popular models featuring the combination of retrograde indicators and jump hour complications. While Genta no longer heads his namesake company, his timeless designs live on.
