About Zenith

Zenith is the 150 year company that is responsible for the creation of one of the few movements to gain as much notoriety as some watches. The El Primeiro was the first mechanical movement to offer a rate of vibration of 36,600 vph. This translates to a watch that is precise to 1/10 second. The El Primeiro mechanism is at the heart of many of Zenith models including the Chronomasters and the Open Heart watches for women. The company is regarded as a manufacturer of some of the best movements and this is exemplified by the fact that many extremely popular brands like Rolex and Panerai have used Zenith movements for their own creations.
