Basel 2012 - Bell & Ross BR01 Horizon ¶
(Cet article n'est pas disponible en Français)
New from Bell & Ross in the BR01 Instrument lineup is the BR01 Horizon, which takes the concept of the Radar and Compass models a step further by replicating the horizon-level display aircraft instrument.
Featuring a 46mm PVD coated case with a striking two-tone multi-level dial, the Horizon uses a more conventional time display than the Radar, using a set of "normal" hours, minutes and seconds hands. The dial is split into two sections to replicate the level display, which shows pilots their orientation in regard to the ground during manoeuvring. The hours are indicated on a floating chapter ring that surrounds the dial. A bridge extends over the hand pinion from 12 oclock. The Horizon will use a tried-n-true ETA 2892 automatic winding Swiss calibre like the existing BR01-92 models.
Expect to see the Horizon in store later this year. Supplies will be limited, so if you are intent on getting a hold of the Horizon we recommend placing a deposit in advance. Contact us for more information.
